What to Expect
Two days in Shanghai cover its temples, gardens and waterfront. A high-speed train then takes you to the coastal city of Qingdao, known for its seafront, beer heritage and colonial architecture. A second train carries you to Beijing for the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and a day on the Great Wall.
