Lerai Safari Camp is the only permanent safari accommodation in the 5,000 acre Olerai Conservancy of the greater Masai Mara ecosystem of southern Kenya. Barely 15 miles north of Tanzania’s Serengeti National park and just west of Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, it’s an area teaming with African wildlife with migratory pathways for wildebeest, zebra, elephant and antelopes.

Lerai Safari Camp was built slowly throughout 2018 to allow the wildlife breathing space to co-exist with us. Enveloped within a cluster of acacia trees (Lerai means yellow and Olerai describes the acacia tree), there is a nearby riverine forest stream drawing elephants towards camp.

Notes:

• 4 x4 vehicles only Green or Earth tones only.
• Guide sharing meals with clients KSH.15,000 per day.
• Maximum No. of singles is 3, the 4th and subsequent singles are charged at double room rate.
• 3rd Adult sharing pays per person sharing rate.
• Late Departure KES 15,000 per adult & KES 9,000 per child for clients arriving on AM and departing on PM nights (Inc. of extra lunch & enroute game drive) + Extra day park fees.
• Early morning arrival / departure & late afternoon arrival KSH.9,000 per vehicle– one way airstrip transfer applies.

Child Policy:

• Children 01-07 years (NOT Allowed), unless camp is booked exclusively.
• Children 08-11 years sharing own tent pays 75% of the per person sharing rate per night.
• Children 08-11 years sharing tent with 02 adults pays 50% of the per person sharing rate per night.
• Children 08-11 years sharing tent with 01 adult pays 50% of the per person sharing rate per night & the adult pays full single room rate.
• One child in own tent is at 75% of single occupancy rate.
• One adult sharing with one child, adult pays single occupancy rate, child pays 50% of the per person sharing rate.

Game Reserve Fees (Extra & Optional):

• KSH.4,500 per day per adult,
• KSH.2,000 per child per day.
