Moringa Spa
The Moringa Spa offers a range of treatments including massage, manicures, pedicures and reflexology. Guests can enjoy their choice of treatment in our garden spa cabin, overlooking the swimming pool and the beach with the fresh ocean breeze or in the air-conditioned treatment room.
Gym
The mini ocean view gym is equipped with a trio of the race range including the bike race, run race and step race machines as well as a multi-functional gym. On request a personal trainer can be arranged to give you are more structured work out or guidance.
Swimming Pool
The intricately detailed, 118m long, moat-like meandering swimming pool runs through and encompasses the main house. It features an open-air Ocean view Jacuzzi overlooking the beach, water bar stools next to The Maji Moto Bar and comfortable water seating. The swimming pool is open 24/7 but we do ask guests to respect a quiet time. There are two open air shower areas are available by the pool.
Safari
There is an 18-hole golf course with views over the Indian Ocean a few minutes from The Maji. Other activities in the vicinity include visiting a local village, a walk through the Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest, cycling, quad biking, Yoga, Zumba and other fitness classes.
There are many places of interest and excursions that are easily accessible from Diani including a visit to the Shimba Hills National Reserve, a Funzi island day excursion, Mombasa City tours and the Tiwi Africa Pool and Tsavo National Park.
Surfing
The award-winning Diani Beach is host to many water-based activities such as diving including PADI diving courses, snorkeling around the sand islands or Kisite Marine National Park, wind surfing, kite surfing, stand up paddle boarding, body boarding, beach buggy, sea kayaking, dolphin safaris, bird watching in a dug-out canoe along the Kongo river, camel rides along the beach, swimming with Whale sharks (seasonal) and traditional fishing. Motorized sports include deep sea sports fishing and jet skiing.
