What to Expect
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is built to take in the landscape. Elephants cross the plains beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, and the lodge architecture draws on local culture, which gives the stay a strong sense of place. Days follow the park, with early and late game drives and rest at the lodge in between.
The rates cover accommodation and all meals. Our team can add game drives, flights, a road safari in a 4×4 Land Cruiser or an SGR journey from Nairobi, with transfers at the airstrip or station.
The starting rate is USD 135 per person per night sharing, full board, from 1 March to 31 May 2026. The final price depends on your dates, room and number of guests, so contact our team to confirm availability and get a quote.

Itinerary
Travel from Nairobi by road or SGR, or fly into the Amboseli airstrip, then transfer to the lodge and check in with views of Kilimanjaro.
Join game drives in Amboseli National Park to look for elephants, lions, buffalo and other wildlife beneath Mount Kilimanjaro.
Spend another day in the park, with time to rest at the lodge and enjoy the evening light on the mountain.
Enjoy a final breakfast, check out and continue to the airstrip, the SGR station or the road back to Nairobi.

A Family Room costs USD 43 more per night, and a Suite costs USD 104 more per suite per night.
Children under 6 years sharing with an adult stay free. Children 6 to 12 years sharing with an adult pay 25% of the double rate, and in their own room 75% of the adult twin rate per person, with a minimum of 2 children.
You can travel by road from Nairobi, take the SGR train and continue by road, or fly into the Amboseli airstrip. Our team can arrange flights, SGR tickets and private transfers.
