PPS means per person sharing a double or twin room. PP means per person in single occupancy. Rates are on a full board basis.
- Children up to 6 years sharing with one or two adults stay free (maximum 2 per room).
- Children aged 7 to 12 years sharing with one or two adults pay 15% of the single rate per child (maximum 2 per room).
- Children aged 13 to 17 years sharing with one or two adults pay 25% of the single rate.
- Children up to 17 years in their own room pay 80% of the applicable single, double or triple rate.

Sarova Shaba Game Lodge offers the same rate from 3 January to 22 December 2026, which makes planning simple. Choose between Standard and Deluxe rooms in a quiet garden setting by the river.
Rates are on a full board basis, so drinks, game drives and reserve entry fees are added to suit your plans. Our team can arrange game drives, transfers and a full itinerary.

Itinerary
Travel by road or air to the area and transfer to Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. You are welcomed with refreshments, shown to your room and can enjoy an afternoon at leisure or an optional game drive.
Set out early for the morning game drive, when predators are most active, then return for a relaxed lunch and rest. An afternoon drive follows, finishing with dinner back at the lodge.
Spend another day exploring for elephants, Grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and Beisa oryx. Ask our team about optional extras such as guided walks, cultural visits or special dining.
Enjoy a final breakfast, then transfer to the airstrip or begin the journey back to Nairobi. Your stay can be extended night by night.

Wildlife viewing is good year-round. June to October is the dry season and the best time for game viewing, while November to May is greener and quieter with lower rates.
You can travel by road from Nairobi, or fly to the nearest airstrip and be met for a transfer. We arrange either option together with your stay.
Where the rates are marked as resident rates, they apply to Kenya citizens and East African residents with valid proof of residency. If you are travelling as a non-resident, ask our team for a quote that matches your travel status.
Samburu National Reserve entry fees are not included and are paid separately. Our team can confirm the current fees for your dates.
Yes. Rates are priced per person per night, so you can stay as many nights as you like. Our team can also combine your stay with other destinations in Kenya.
