What to Expect
The trip begins in Cairo, with the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin and the Khan el-Khalili bazaar. You then fly to Luxor for the tombs, temples and monuments of ancient Thebes.
Four nights on a 5-star Nile cruise follow, with stops at the temples of Dendera, Abydos, Edfu and Kom Ombo, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsutu2019s temple and the Temple of Philae at Aswan. A private guide leads every sightseeing day.

Itinerary
Our representative meets you at Cairo airport, helps you through customs and visa formalities and takes you to your hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy a welcome drink and a briefing on your tours. Meals: none.
Visit the Giza Plateau for the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, with an optional camel ride, then enjoy a local lunch and see the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara. Meals: breakfast and lunch.
See the treasures of Tutankhamun at the Egyptian Museum, then lunch locally and visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali. End in the Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Meals: breakfast and lunch.
Fly to Luxor and explore the Valley of the Queens, the Valley of the Nobles and Habu Temple on the West Bank, then Karnak and Luxor temples on the East Bank. Overnight in Luxor. Meals: breakfast and lunch.
Take an excursion to the temples of Dendera and Abydos, have lunch ashore and board your 5-star Nile cruise for dinner on board. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Visit the Valley of the Kings, with entry to three tombs, then the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon before sailing towards Edfu. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the double temple of Sobek and Horus at Kom Ombo, with afternoon tea on board as you sail to Aswan. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Choose the optional excursion to the temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, or relax on the cruise and watch the Nile go by. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Disembark and visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, have lunch, then fly from Aswan back to Cairo for your last night. Meals: breakfast and lunch.
