Aberdare Prestige & Royal Cottages is a good-value highland base in Nanyuki, with one rate for most of the year and a higher rate for Easter and the festive season.
Half board covers breakfast and dinner, leaving the day free for excursions.

Itinerary
Travel by road or air to the area and transfer to Aberdare Prestige & Royal Cottages. You are welcomed with refreshments, shown to your room and can enjoy an afternoon at leisure or an optional game drive.
Set out early for the morning game drive, when predators are most active, then return for a relaxed lunch and rest. An afternoon drive follows, finishing with dinner back at the lodge.
Spend another day exploring for wildlife. Ask our team about optional extras such as guided walks, cultural visits or special dining.
Enjoy a final breakfast, then transfer to the airstrip or begin the journey back to Nairobi. Your stay can be extended night by night.

The Mount Kenya region is cool and pleasant year-round. January to March and July to October are the driest months, while April, May and November are the wetter months with lower rates.
You can travel by road from Nairobi, or fly to the nearest airstrip and be met for a transfer. We arrange either option together with your stay.
Where the rates are marked as resident rates, they apply to Kenya citizens and East African residents with valid proof of residency. If you are travelling as a non-resident, ask our team for a quote that matches your travel status.
Park or conservancy fees, where they apply, are not included unless stated. Our team can confirm the current fees for your dates.
