Watamu Marine Park
Description
Explore the coral gardens of the Watamu Marine National Park on a guided snorkel safari. Low tide gives clear, calm water over the reef, and a guide stays with you to point out fish, coral and other marine life you might otherwise miss.
Our team handles the booking and can add the safari to any Watamu, Malindi or North Coast stay.

- Coral gardens and colourful reef fish
- Suited to beginners and confident swimmers alike
- Scheduled departures on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday

What to Expect
Your guide gives a short safety briefing and fits your mask, snorkel and fins. You then enter the water together and the guide leads the group over the reef.
Marine life varies with the tide and season, so what you see on the day cannot be guaranteed. The exact reef and start time depend on the low tide and are confirmed when you book.
Bring swimwear, a towel, a hat, sunglasses, reef-safe sun cream and a light cover-up. A waterproof bag for your phone or camera is also useful. Contact our team to confirm availability and to book.
