PPS means per person sharing a double or twin room. PP means per person in single occupancy.
- Children aged 0 to 3 years stay free.
- In a triple room (2 adults and 1 child), children aged 4 to 11 years pay 50% of the adult rate.
- Children aged 4 to 11 years in their own room pay 75% of the room rate (maximum 3 children).
- A single adult sharing with a child aged 4 to 11 years pays the single room rate plus 50% of the adult rate for the child.

Itinerary
Arrive at The Majlis Resort Lamu and check in. Settle into your room, enjoy a welcome drink and spend the afternoon on the beach or by the pool.
Start with breakfast and spend the day on the sand, in the water or at the spa. Evenings are for dinner at the resort with the sound of the Indian Ocean in the background.
Join an optional excursion such as a boat trip, snorkelling, a cultural visit or a local market. Ask our team to arrange the activities that suit your group.
Enjoy a final breakfast and some last time on the beach before checking out. Your stay can be extended night by night.

The coast is warm year-round. December to March is hot and dry, while June to October is cooler and drier. April to June is the long rains, with the lowest rates.
You can fly to Mombasa, Ukunda or Malindi, or take the train or a road transfer. We arrange transfers to the resort together with your stay.
Where the rates are marked as resident rates, they apply to Kenya citizens and East African residents with valid proof of residency. If you are travelling as a non-resident, ask our team for a quote that matches your travel status.
There are no park fees for Lamu. Our team can advise on dhow trips and cultural activities for your dates.
Yes. Rates are priced per person per night, so you can stay as many nights as you like. Our team can also combine your stay with other destinations in Kenya.
