PPS means per person sharing a double or twin room. PP means per person in single occupancy. Rates are on a full board basis.
- Children under 6 years sharing a room with an adult stay free.
- Children aged 6 to 12 years sharing a room with an adult pay 25% of the double rate per child.
- Children aged 6 to 12 years in their own room pay 75% of the per person adult twin rate per child (minimum 2 children).
- Three children below 12 years in their own room: the double rate applies.
- Teens aged 13 to 17 years, in their own room or sharing, pay 75% of the adult rate.

What to Expect
Kilaguni Serena is a classic Tsavo West lodge with a famous waterhole in front of the verandah, a favourite for photographers and first-time safari travellers.
Rates are lowest from March to May, rise slightly in June and October to December, and peak from July to September.

Itinerary
Travel by road or air to the area and transfer to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. You are welcomed with refreshments, shown to your room and can enjoy an afternoon at leisure or an optional game drive.
Set out early for the morning game drive, when predators are most active, then return for a relaxed lunch and rest. An afternoon drive follows, finishing with dinner back at the lodge.
Spend another day exploring for elephants, lions, buffalo and Mount Kilimanjaro views. Ask our team about optional extras such as guided walks, cultural visits or special dining.
Enjoy a final breakfast, then transfer to the airstrip or begin the journey back to Nairobi. Your stay can be extended night by night.

Wildlife viewing is good year-round. June to October is the dry season and the best time for game viewing, while November to May is greener and quieter with lower rates.
You can travel by road from Nairobi, or fly to the nearest airstrip and be met for a transfer. We arrange either option together with your stay.
Where the rates are marked as resident rates, they apply to Kenya citizens and East African residents with valid proof of residency. If you are travelling as a non-resident, ask our team for a quote that matches your travel status.
Tsavo National Park fees are not included and are paid separately. Our team can confirm the current fees for your dates.
Yes. Rates are priced per person per night, so you can stay as many nights as you like. Our team can also combine your stay with other destinations in Kenya.
